Just in time for the current election season, “All Politics is Local: There’s Something Afoot in Lynn” opens on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 5:30 with a reception and opportunity to meet the curator, Anne Starr.

The exhibition, which runs through the spring 2010, takes a look at Lynn politics and the local grass-root movements that were entwined with the political issues of the day. The Lynn Museum has a vast collection of objects documenting the city’s participation in local, state and national politics, as well as its part in the important social movements that were energized by Lynn residents.
