"Acres of amazing rock creations await you at Petersen Rock Gardens. Not the hokey attraction it appears to be from the signs on the roadway. A great place to stop with the kids for a picnic and look around. All originally designed by Petersen himself, the garden is full of amazing structures, bridges and terraces designed from small fancy rocks. The gift store has an assortment of these thundereggs and petrified wood for sale at extremely reasonable prices. These rock gardens are definitely a discovery completely out of the ordinary."
