Museo de Pozo Almonte[View Images]
El museo salitrero de Pozo Almonte cuenta con una serie de objetos de uso doméstico como vajillas, zapatos, herramientas, monedas y otros, utilizados en las oficinas salitreras que se desarrollaron en la región entre 1830 y 1960. Cuenta además, con colecciones de fotografías locales. Se trata de un pequeño y modesto museo que han levantado los habitantes de la zona para no olvidar su pasado.
El antiguo museo fue destruído por el terremoto del 29 de noviembre de 1976, levantándose el actual en septiembre de 1977, el cual conserva la estructura arquitectónica antigua.
Posee cuatro áreas de comunicación interna en las cuales se mantienen aproximadamente 10 vitrinas con diversos elementos relacionados con la explotación del salitre y la Guerra del Pacífico.
