Created at the request of a pioneer in the study of anthropology, Oscar 'Mousy' Prieto, Vergara Anthropological Museum houses a collection estimated at 1,300 specimens obtained by a team of local researchers in Treinta y Tres, Rocha and part of Cerro Largo.
