The first botanical garden ("orto botanico") appeared in Padova, Italy in 1545. It was designed not only as a place where visitors could view a variety of plants and learn about them, but also as a pleasant, comfortable environment conducive to thinking and strolling. This exhibition features wallpaper designs with butterfly, bird and plant motifs that bring a little peace and relaxation to our busy lives.
